Fall in Love with Cocoa this season.

This was written as part of my paid role in partnership with CocoaVia® supplement.

Just the word cocoa brings a warm smile to most faces. When the seasons change we crave sweaters, fireside chats and sipping hot cocoa. Do you feel guilty about drinking hot cocoa?

I personally love everything about fall as much as you, even though I live in Florida! Sipping on a warm, comforting beverage is part of the seasons changing. I also love pumpkin, but don’t need the pie every day, if you know what I mean.

Living in Florida many think we skip out on seasons. We do have seasons, however, and we enjoy sipping coffee and cocoa by the fire—even if it is around a camp fire in our cooler months.

Cue my favorite fall beverage. A Pumpkin-Spiked Latte!

As a nutrition expert, I love to add a splash of nutrition whenever I can, so I add CocoaVia® cocoa extract supplement to my latte. CocoaVia® supplement delivers the highest concentration of cocoa flavanols available in a cocoa extract supplement today. For those of you that don’t know, cocoa flavanols are the beneficial plant-based nutrients (phytonutrients) found naturally in cocoa that work with your body to maintain healthy levels of nitric oxide, which helps maintain the healthy flow of oxygen and nutrients to all parts of your body. This means that vital organs, including your heart and your brain, get the nourishment they need to perform at their best.

As a professional who cooks for clients and is on my feet most of the day, healthy blood flow is a big deal to me. And as we mature through life, it is even more important. So cheers from the south on the eve of chilly weather. Enjoy a nutrient-rich drink full of protein, calcium, flavanols, but most importantly comfort and taste!
